Aida is a fictional character from the Texhnolyze anime series. At first, he was known just as the Promoter (興行主, Kougyounushi).

Appearance

Aida is an average-looking man of older age. He has brown hair and visible wrinkles on his face. As a serious organizer of prize fights, he dresses in suits.

Personality

Almost nothing is known about his personality. It can be said that he is a vindictive person who does not allow "inferior" people to act against him or his people. As a serious organizer of prize fights, he dresses in suits.

Biography

There is a scene in which Aida watches a naked Ichise, rating his physical condition. As a prize fighting promoter, apparently Aida has to do those things. He later finds out that his lover or just a high ranked prostitute who works for him was hit by Ichise. He contacts Kyosuke Ishii, one of the members of Organo, to help him take revenge on Ichise. Eventually they find him together with a group of other gangsters from Organo and cut off the young fighter's arm and leg with a sword.

The series does not show him to have any special abilities. It is not even known whether he achieved his position on his own or through some "friendships".
