Mana Oonishi is a fictional character from the Texhnolyze anime series.

Usually her facial expression is smiling and her eyes are completely empty, making her look like something like a doll. It's shown that Mana is a nearly catatonic "empty shell" and thus unable to provide either physical or emotional intimacy to Keigo Oonishi, her husband. They even sleep in separate beds. Because of that, he decided at some point to start sleeping with his secretary Michiko Hirota. However, he loves Mana enough that he is very moved after her death.
On the other hand, her attitude, devoid of any emotion, may be related to the fact that she knows that Oonishi prefers to sleep with another woman. In other words, it is unknown what was first: her "empty" attitude or Oonishi's romance with Michiko.
