Her relationship with Keigo Oonishi is quite ambiguous. What at first seems to be him engaging in a tryst with Michiko turns out to be the love triangle between Keigo, Michiko and Mana, with Keigo turning to Michiko because Mana is implied to have lost all contact with reality at this point. Mana ends up dead due to a hostage crisis, and he freezes out Michiko romantically due to his grief. And whatever possibility of the two becoming closer is shot down when Michiko is tortured so brutally, that she begs him to end her suffering.
Biography[]
By the end of the series, she has been abused so much by a trio of remaining Luxites that she's barely responsive and only asks to be killed.
