Synopsis[]
Instead of traveling to Gabe, Kazuho Yoshii takes Tatsuya Sakimura and Ran deeper into the city by train. He says he wants to show the Racan kids the “hill”. He also wants to show Sakimura that the city is now moving faster than Sakimura is.
Keigo Oonishi resupplies with a gun and bullets at an old bartender’s place. Keitarou Mizuno is told that Akihisa Sonoda and Bunken Kohakura are for him (better him than Oonishi any day), but Ryuichi Izaki and Shinichirou Tsujinaka are not.
Sakimura, Yoshii, and Ran meet with Shinji. Yoshii tells Shinji that if he wants Racan to win the 3-way battle, he should see things from a different angle. He invites him to go with them. Shinji agrees, despite Hal’s protests. Shinji gives orders for nobody to do anything until he returns. Nonetheless, Hal orders a few men to follow them.
En route to spying on Shinji, Tel and Mal, on a motorcycle, run into Oonishi. With his sword, Oonishi overturns the motorcycle, killing one of them and forcing the other to tell where the “visitor” (Yoshii) is. Soon after this Oonishi meets up with Michiko Hirota and Ichise, as well as Haruhiko Toyama, who has been waiting in the area. Toyama leads them toward the meeting place.
At a buildling opposite the one where the meeting will be held, Yoshii shows Shinji the person from Class, through a telescope. Yoshii then takes the telescope, attaches it to his sniper rifle, then shoots at the Organo bodyguards just outside the buildling. He then aims at the person from Class, but Shinji points a gun at him and stops him. He wants to know what Yoshii is up to. He says that Yoshii has been too conveniently at the right place at the right time, and correctly suspects him of bombing the Racan headquarters. Only Sakimura, who points a gun at Shinji, prevents Shinji from actually shooting him. Yoshii just says that he wants a leader who will wake up the city.
When the car arrives at the building, Oonishi gets out of the car and runs. He enters the meeting hall, just in time to make people duck and avoid Yoshii’s shots at the hall. Yoshii then leaves Sakimura and Ran. Ran prevents Sakimura from following him.
At the second floor of the circular building, Yoshii opens fire at Oonishi. Eventually the two come together. Oonishi finds that he could not slash Yoshii because of improvements on his chest. Yoshii attacks him on the chest then stands over him. But Ichise has reached their place. He gives Yoshii a solid punch and sends him flying down to the first floor.
As Ran complains that nothing changes, Sakimura comes near to Yoshii, fallen on the first floor. He shoots him at the neck, and kills him.
